Dawn
This morning I was attempting to catch pictures of Bristol in the early light. When I looked at them later I discovered this rather fairy tale section.

is that a castle peeking through the trees? this is exceptional!
Magic! What is that castle?
Thanks valgalart and andrea - we think it may be a Polish Roman Catholic Church but we're not sure - it hasn't shown up so clearly before... so yes maybe it is really a magical fairy tale castle as I'd hoped...
Very atmospheric!
good morning caroline! 'love mornings-this is a lovely photo.
Thanks Andy.
Isay - hello, its now afternoon here... thank you! I was pleased to discover it within the much more boring picture I'd taken....
Very mystical, and I particularly like the bird.
Magical! So beautiful!
Very beautiful and magical. What is that castle in the background?
I looked again this morning and couldn't find it again!
I really, really like this. The light, the subtle color and the contrast are just wonderful. I agree with other comments... this is mystical and magical! Love the "castle" in the sky.
Lighting makes SO much difference!
Would make a lovely Sleeping Beauty illustration, no?
On the other hand, that falcon (or whatever) in the tree is pretty ominous...
Love the warm light, cold atmosphere combination.
Beautiful photo!
All your work has this magical, mystical, story-teller's quality.
Thanks for all the comments on this one being magical - it certainly seems to have been as I cannot recapture it again! I'm currently reading The Dark is Rising (children's book) and that seems to have this dream like quality to it too.
Wandering Coyote and Sultry Painterwoman - the bird is a pigeon and was what I had consciously focused on
I feel that in this picture it could almost talk...
GG - you are the story-teller... I'm not sure what I am!
