Caro: that could totally be a tarot card!
hi! thanks!, i tried to do that!
i love your colourful drawings!!!, they are so beautiful!, i love horses!and specially the imaginary ones!
mua!!!
Hi Caroline, I love the hue and the strange light.
And also the lines(I can see it in the detail)
I wish you Good luck with that problem with your house and your kitchen ;-)
Carla
This drawing is a smorgasbord for the imagination. Is it digital or ...? The colours are inspired.
I LOVE the power and the energy in this piece. It's really amazing.
Nice reflect and a wery powerful imagine. Like the little babyface inbetween the uncie anmials. So spiritual!
joli noir perle - thank you, thank you!
melba - I decided I wanted some sort of heraldic beast and I got a bit carried away as I added both a horn and wings! Funny to think you bought one similar!
janey - thank you!
wandering coyote - now that's an idea! How would you interpret it?
cecilia'sart - thank you! Imaginary horses did seem to be called for here!
kikazinha - I'm glad you noticed - I created it all on white but then decided a different mood was needed - and of course then I had to change not just the background...
andrea - I drew the first beast with a black pen on white card. All the colour is digital.
rebekah - thank you - I was trying to get a good energy in!
zordis - thank you too. The baby face was the last detail I added.
Magical, beautiful, powerful. And a positive message too.
I wish Wild Mother a safe, good birth.
GG - thanks. I'll pass your message along.
Just beautiful!
Colors are great. and in the close-up the background reminds me of paste paper technique!
UNICORNS....I saw some of those last night! At least I think I did...Caro, we must haunt the same spots, tee hee.
Love all the vivid color. Makes me think of dancing under the colored lights in my flashing platform shoes.
Your blog is full of wonderful treasures for the eyes.
Smooch,
The Tart
Caro: give me some time to think. I'll write a write-up like the ones in my Motherpeace deck!
you've definitely captured the mystical element here...love the winged horses and vibrant colors!
Caro: OK. Here goes.
Upright: A baby girl is bouyed by the fires of imagination and creativity. Her imagination knows no bounds and she has not yet lost her childhood belief in unicorns and fairy tales. She exists in a beautiful world made up of her own creations. She is warmed and nourished by this.
Reversed: Her innocence is lost and she falls from her place of boundless enthusiasm. The world is a different place now and she doesn't know how to navigate within it. She grieves the loss and harbours resentment towards those who have helped shatter her world. She fervently wishes her unicorns would return, but knows deep down that they will not.
How's that??
Caroline, this is mythical and magical! Those unicorn/pegasus creatures are so beautifully done, and I love the glowing babay face! It's beautiful:>
toni kelly - I wonder what paste paper technique is - I'll have to look that one up! Thanks for the compliments.
jody - you are welcome to dance here in your flashing platforms anytime! Just take care with those unicorns...
the crafty-girl - thanks - glad I caught some of the spirit I was after.
wandering coyote - brilliant interpretation!
I hope she can re-discover the unicorns without having to believe!
carla - thank you - do you know if there are any stories where unicorns have wings? When researching we found that "ordinary" unicorns have goats feet and lion's tails.. but I wanted a horned pegasus so I made it more horsey.
Luv the twin Ki-Rins flanking the baby. Their fiery breath of life will help strengthen the childs spirit and bring good fortune when needed most.

=^_^=
Aha an id on what they are! Thanks Steve!
Apologies for being late ... was busy eating. Imagine the Ki-Rins are tasty also ... they have spectacular fire from their breasts and can image they are also fast at carrying messages so the baby is safe };-}
Thanks for popping in for a quick snack anonymous.
Great piece. Well done.
Powerful, yet controlled, piece. Great job.
Thanks holly and tony!
This is so beautiful!
Thank you aravis
lovely painting! fire breathing unicorns. what a great imagination came up with that. Are they breathing fire at a baby?
Jamie - thanks! - they are breathing the fire of life that creates the baby!
