Your moon looks kinda moody. Maybe some clouds could tickle it's fancy...
:-D

He looks like he's pondering the question...perhpas it isn't as simple as it seems!
Simply wonderful. This would make a great tattoo! But not for me. Needles! EEK!
love
brilliant! so much expression in so few "brush" strokes.
i think it is simply sleeping!
That could be me in a chair on a friday night after a couple of wines.
Nice moon face too.
Amazing what a few 'simple' lines can do to create a mood.
Every time I come here there's always something to make me smile or marvel at. This made me smile.
I totally dig on this one! The moon with his smug mug.
Steve - maybe he is moody because the clouds won't play?
Carla - perhaps not!
Unknown - I could do you a temporary version?
kg - thanks - what you don't see are the all the version that got thrown away ;-)
isay - good point - it was daylight when I drew him!
davem - are you the cat in the moon?
andrea - thank you - it was certainly quicker than last weeks (despite the number of versions I did)!
GG - very glad to have helped you smile.
madretz - that's an idea - would be a good design for a mug!
What a great response to the theme!
Single line is simpler - simple smile :)
Very and peaceful too.
simple and expressive! Nice illo!
thank you teri C - responding to the theme is what IF is about for me!
shane - strange that simplicity is so hard to come by isn't it?
anonymous - not the single lines I tried first!
Janey - thank you - peaceful sounds lovely
Alina - simply, thank you
Ummm, yes those ones :) Nothing is simple!
Do I need to fetch Simon to prove how simple a freehand circle is?
};-}
I drew loads of not good enough circles before I gave up and added a face to one of them...
They might be simple but they are not easy...
Simon says applause!
Remember once whilst having a conversation with Dad when doodling he suddenly stopped and made a huge fuss about a circle I'd drawn. Never knew some tried over and over to do what I'd done without thinking. Couldn't do it if I tried though :) Maybe Simple Simon does know best!
Simply beautiful moon!
He looks to be simply thinking!
simple lines...great work
it seems so natural for you to always come up with the perfect example for the theme! love this moon or circle in this beautiful blue!
The simplicity of your piece manages to provoke a lot of thought and comment... wonderful to see that an illustration does not necessarily have to be complex in construction to achieve an objective.
(and ps...You are welcome to come visit in Perth anytime I am there!)
Marie
ohh is Mr. Moon mad or just sleepy? hihi^_^
Such a wonderful expression through just a few simple lines! WOnderful!
Nice lines Caro... And simple!
Anonymous - didn't he notice that you were drawing round a coin??? tee hee...
Marc - thank you - but as this one is not made out of cheese he's not as edible as your simple fare...
Toni Kelly - simply thinking? Could be. I wonder what though...
Valgalart - thank you - I enjoy the challenge of making something new on Fridays (or whenever I get round to it!)
Marie - that's an interesting point - I wonder if it would have provoked as much comment if all my pictures were so spare... and thank you... though the chance of finding you in is small... thank you... and do drop in on me in Bristol if you are in England for more than an hour!
Irvine - Mr Moon isn't mad at you... but he is wondering how to scratch the back of his head...
Melba - thank you - I'm glad you have a good energy awareness - I do too.
Creative Kismet - thank you - those few lines were not the first so it took much longer than it looks like it would have...
Alexa Brett - thank you - perhaps the lines that are not there are what holds the gaze?
Merlinprincesse - the perfect compilment thank you!
this is amazingly simple and beatiful...thanks for yuor comment...
A tricky question, your illo may be simple with colours , but the expression is not that simple anymore.
Aynaku - thank you too.
katili - true - not so simple afterall..
Nice - good solution to this week's "problem".
I saw this on Flickr over the weekend and loved it! Now I see it on your blog!
I love this. It is very simple but very but cheerful as well. It would be great as a logo on a card or postcard.
This is great stuff--love the blue on white!
Rose - thanks - simple was harder than it might appear at first...
Lyn - glad you popped by
Maria - thank you - I don't ofen manage that... maybe I'll have to practise it more....
Holly - That's a lovely idea - or how about as a stamp?
Steve - thanks - I kept the colours simple too...
blue on white. i think simpler in some ways than black on white.
blue is less dramatic. cleaner. more natural somehow.
catnapping - do you mean like willow pattern? Oh dear I'm being influenced by the china from my childhood!
Your simple lines created such a pondering image! VERY nice!! p.s. I thought I had already posted here...but, it isn't here! Hmmmm...this is something I need t ponder! LOL!
It's... winking... at... me.....
Txartgal - I'm often finding that comments go astray. Thanks for coming back!
Tony Larocca - If I was any good at animation it really would be... fun idea!
That's one deep thinking circle. Very nice.
Wow Tony - I didn't recognise you - so handsome!
How fun – I can hear swoosh! of a brush – one bold turn! Lily.
