10 Metal
This is the second of the card images. The first was an ace of a suit (birds), this one however is a ten. I'm not forcing any specific order on these and just going with what comes, as it comes.
This one also happens to be metal. I'm not sure yet what the suits will be or how many cards there will be in a suit. In most Tarot sets there are fifty-six minor arcana in four suits each of 14 cards (10 numbers, 4 court), plus around 22 major arcana cards. As I plan to let this pack simply turn up as it chooses I cannot guarantee I'll be following the normal pattern - there are plenty of packs out there now that do and many that don't. I'll wait and see.
Upright:
This person with pins stuck in his head is carrying on working; busy, busy, busy, despite his pain. He considers himself a hero to do so.
Yet he receives no healing this way.
Reverse:
What do you think?

I think I want to see more!
i like the yellow green surrounding the image but i am not sure of the pins on the head esp. the reverse one-seems masochism to me. i could have not thought about them as pins if you have not mentioned it.
oo, caroline these cards are so cool!!! i love this one and the ace of birds.
i'm not sure about what the reverse would mean...perhaps, he can no longer be busy, busy or work through his pain because he's immobilized by it, but this gives him the opportunity he needs to heal.
Andrea - Good - more are coming!
Isay - masochism and martrydom are both signified here... it is not meant to be a comfortable image - if it were to come up in a reading it would be a warning!
Kat - that's good thank you - yes it could be a warning that its gone too far to be ignored any longer
Thank you alessandro_ppg - google translate seems to think you are speaking Portuguese here and that you congratulate me on this. Obrigado!
hippo_pepperpot - oh I don't know that area at all... funny how Bristol has so many parts that stay disconnected! Thanks!
Hi there,
Thanks for coming to my blog and saying such nice things. I would not mind answering ANY questions you have for me (in fact, I'd really enjoy it!) but I am quite nervous about being the one to have to ask someone else questions...
I LOVE your card. What an amazing deck you will have someday. Do you have them all in one place to see?
Have a wonderful day!
Megg - I was nervous about asking other people questions yet it seems there are people who are prepared to let me...
Viking054 - do you keep pins in your hat or was that just empathy for the poor guy!
I love this!
I would think the reverse would be a healthy balance of work and enjoyment. Perhaps a happy and content personal life.
My first thought was that you could subtitle this one 'Mean Mr Migraine'. That's what it feels like to me.
He is so thin - obviously not receiving much sustenace in his constant "doing."
I like Kat's interpretation of the reverse :-) immobilized by the pain, but open to healing...
Joy Eliz - thanks! A better balance? That's a good idea.
Kyknoord - unfortunately I know just what you mean!
Kelly - hi! - thanks so that's two votes for being immoblised but now open to healing.
Such a striking image this, and the series a great focus for your talents Caro. I vote for immobilised/healing - I think he's had a nervous breakdown, and he has no choice but to rest on the spot. Perhaps he'll start that painting he meaned to all those years!
Johnnynorms - nervous breakdown seems quite likely with all those spikes in his head... thanks!
