Experiments

Look!
This first picture is an experiment in working with a mixture of drawings and photographs. I was attempting to get quite a rich background even though the text is a straightforward reminder to keep my eyes open!

And one reason to keep them open is to see that my Hellebore has just started to flower, though it too gets some Painter IX treatment:
Hellebore

The first one makes me think of peacock featehrs and it almost has that shimmery effect. I'm so busy looking around the letters that I almost forgot to LOOK. The flower looks like it's made of fabric. Beautiful stuff.

Kate - hi - thank!

Andrea - thank you. Isn't that odd... I'd thought the top one looked like a fabric! Though of course, what I forgot to mention in the write up is that the bottom picture is part of the blend in the top one...

i like what you did with your Hellebore! and your top image can be a good sarong design!

Like Andrea, the first thing I thought of with the top pic is peacock feathers. I LOVE what you did with the Hellebores. All the delicate lines and swirls. Beautiful!

Isay - thank you - a sarong would be lovely - I wonder if someone will make one up for me!

Nan - thank you too - I can see the peacock feathers too now....

I saw lots of eyes in the first; but now can see the 'eyes' of the peacock on their tails. Maybe I should look behind me.

The second image of your Hellebores is beautiful, I want to smell it :)

These are so cool!
I'm glad you enjoyed the 'tea fairy' no need to worry she's going to Chai Heaven:>

I was wondering about the voice behind the word LOOK! I tried several in my imagination and I settled on a soft, yet on the verge of urgent, LOOK!
I like what you've done here.

Anonymous - you have almost completely faded away now... perhaps you'll be able to look through yourself.

Joy Eliz - so glad to hear that the Tea Fairy is off to a better place!

Brain the Mennonite - thank you - the sound of the voice is indeed quiet quiet and yet wishes to be heard, very perceptive of you.

Thank you anonymous. And Expert! Very kind of you both.

I've dropped my email over at yours. But just in case you lose it and can still access my blog look up to the last line of my "about me". It is a slightly different one but will work too. And yes you are nearly invisible now.

I'm so listless, weary today. This is like refreshment for the 'insides', you know what I mean, Caro?

oh, these are so beautiful. I love your "Look" background. You do mixed media so well.

GG - thank you - so glad to have refreshed a part of you that other things had not reached today!

Zinkibaru - Thank you. I've noticed that I find it such fun that I often think it must be cheating somehow... oh dear I really have to sort out that one... ;-)
