Feet

Feet

I sat and drew my own feet. I was going to colour them in but I liked them as they were. A contrast to the busy blind contour self-portrait!

I really like how you put the boarders around the feet! It adds a lot to it

...Which ties in with your post on your other site re. the shoes...

When I first saw this, I though maybe you drew this while on a scale. That's the perspective I saw in it - looking down while standing upright.

Yes, a contrast, quiet, at rest.

I'm learning a lot here.

Kat & paulsketch thank you. I liked it too!

Wandreing Coyote - you know the penny hadn't dropped for me... of course it ties in doesn't it...

I drew them propped up on a very comfortable ottoman... so I suspect the idea of the scales is yours... Its true that for some reason I posted them 90 degrees rotated from the way I drew them, I think that was just because of how I'd scanned them... though I could have easily flipped them round if I wanted.

Thanks GG.

I like the border, too -- and the purple-on-yellow. I find purple to be a more and more useful colour --weirdly enough it's become a neutral for me when I do landscapes.

I like them the way they are too!

Thank you! I'm glad I put the border on, at the time I wasn't so sure.
