Hi Cream - in Painter there is a kaleidoscope feature (from layers > dynamic plugins > kaleidoscope) - I used it over some scribble several times at 100 pixels square (default) and then a larger one, which must have been 500 pixels square.
I used to love playing with kaleidoscopes as a child.

The Mandala looks really good!
This makes me think of a kalaidoscope and as I looked at it, I expected it to move and change and evolve. (I happen to love kalaidoscopes.) The colors are vibrant.
