Welcome here too Suze!

I love Painter, I've had it over a year now and there is still more to learn about it - which might be a drawback too - it is not simple, but it is powerful.

Hope to see you again.

I love your new avatar! You are so darling and you look like a butterfly! Adorable!!! I love your piece here! I have no idea what you are talking about but i would love to know more, I guess I need to start learning some of these programs. This has such a whimsical feel the way the letters are woinding there way through the illo. Really great!

Valgalart - Thank you!

I realised the letters in the picture were gobbledygook but I didn't realise that my references to Painter's image hose would be too! Its a way of putting in a set of images and then spraying them out again as one draws a line.

What a wonderfully whimsical collection of inventions, Caroline! Someday I'll get around to getting a Paint program to play with - yours always inspire me.

Tinker - Thanks - Painter is a great paint program but I started with a much simpler one - you can get freeware ones to experiment with.

Diane Duda - thanks!
