Q R

Q R
This strange being appeared when I was playing with Painter IX. His name is QR or at least those are his initials. I hope he hasn't written anything rude in whatever characters he's used to decorate himself! (I doubt they mean anything but if they do please let me know!)

Another green man! He looks wise and timeless, but also ready to dance a new Spring in.

you've been busy - nice work. Love the face of QR

Johnnynorms - I hadn't seen him as a green man - but you are right he is!

Joy Eliz - thank you - and thanks for making a home he'd enjoy on the Camel Exchange!

He looks as though he is pondering some equation

Oh my goodness, Caroline, it is so rude I can't begin to tell you :-D

Aw, just teasing. Gee, you're just 'playing' with your painter tools and come up with creative stuff! A wise old fella indeed.

Very cool! I love the colors.

When you said QR it reminded me of Q in Star Trek. Neat work.

Hmm... I think it means 'QR is great!' But I could be wrong ;)

johnnynorms had it right: it's a green man.

Again: another tarot card possibility.

BTW: I put up a Flickr badge, too, but my photos are not as nice as yours!

Maybe he's saying, "I'm sick of waiting in this sodding queue"

He looks as if he knows more than he is telling :-)

Toni Kelly - could be, I hope I don't start drawing equations...

GG - if its that rude I'm glad you kept it to yourself ;-) And yes I was just playing - all the best things come to me when I play (but then so too do some of the worst... )

Rose - thanks - one of the things I did was set up a specific palette with which to play

Janey - oh dear I've not seen Star Trek in so long I don't get the reference...

Viking (do you mind if I'm informal and miss off your numbers?) well I hope it doesn't go to his head... oh dear it does seem to have...

Wandering Coyote - I might make a set of cards yet at this rate! I'll pop over and look at your flickr badge - I restrict mine to showing pictures from the set I made of my own favourites.

Kyknoord - I hope not, otherwise he'll be banned from swearing in my blog! ;-)

Nan - I expect so... in which case we'll probably never know... unless he visits again of course...

A few years ago, some guy in London tried to sue a tattoo parlour as he'd had some Chinese characters tattoed on his arm, thinking they meant something meaningful to him. A few days later, walking in the street, a Chinese person asked him if he knew what his tattoo meant. He said it means XYZ and the Chinese guy said, 'No, it means VERY RUDE words'.

I can't remember what happened about him trying to sue but should you ever want something foreign tattoed on you, remember this tale. :-)

Reluctant nomad - Strangely I bought a second hand book on body decoration today.... and I've got some transfer paper for making temporary tattoes recently too... I wouldn't want a permanent one as I know I'd want something different within a month...
