Cookie Monster
When I admited in my Quirky facts posting that I often see faces, GG mentioned that she likes "to spot people shapes in things".
She's got me doing it too...
The above photograph of this morning's hot chocolate dregs shows what looks to me like a figure with the head of a cookie and no face!
My friend Wild Mother Lightning, interprets this as meaning I need to have cookies with my hot chocolate!

Below the big, round cookie shape I see a dancer, believe it or not :-)
yeah, i notice shapes in things a lot...very often in wood grain. that's a really cool shape though, it looks like a moon-faced figure waving hello.
however, i love your friend's interpretation. hehehe!
I'd like anyone who would tell me I need a cookie. Yum...
I can see a vague impression of the "monster" waving and smiling - he's definately saying bring on the Cookies!!!
GG - I see a dancer there too now you mention it!
kat - I keep on meaning to take some photos of woodgrain - there are some eyes that I particularly like! Have you photographed yours?
Nan - I'm sure Wild Mother Lightning would tell you need one in that case!
And Wild Mother Lightning - thanks for proving I wasn't making up your advice!
The advice was sound but then it's always time for a Cookie, in my world and Nan should definately join the feast!
caroline, no i haven't photographed mine, but that's a great idea!
the spookiest one i ever saw was in a teeny plane i took from boston to albany. in the wood grain that separated the seats from the pilot's cabin i could see my name written in cursive. i thought, oh great, i'm gonna die. lol.
I need chocolate milk...that's what I'm going to have with my lunch, cold chocolate milk.
