Caro, looks like stuff in the Algerian Sahara. Tassili. Quite a few cave paitings just like many places all over the world.
You have got the colours perfect! It is a subject that you could expand on!

Cream and Andrea - I've played with rock and cave painting ideas over the years - they do always come back. When I went to Utah one summer and saw lots of rock art in situ I got really smitten with it. I only had to close my eyes for months after and I'd see new rock art before my eyes. (And Andrea your wish for me in your blog did shift something, I'm sure!)

Brown is a good mood to be, once in a while, makes you think, doesn't it?
even though the colours are subtle, you've given this a vibrance. it's as though it's been etched in lightening-glazed earth.
