Fox again!

I see you've seen me!

This morning the fox was visiting my neighbour's again. Maybe he reads my blog and wanted a more up-to-date photo from the one I posted a week ago. Or maybe he's around every morning and I just happened to spot him today.

Yesterday I spotted two more rainbows - one on TV and the other in a newspaper.

My experiments with printing onto tissue following these instructions worked well - the only adjustment I had to make to my images was to increase their brightness and thereby reducing the saturation of the ink. For some reason I couldn't get "economy" to show on the printer options which might have had a similar effect.

I did the spraying of the re-positionable glue in the shed as its so smelly - yuck! The glue that is, not the shed! And its only an option if its not raining... unfortunately we do seem to be in for a lot of rain again with lots of reports of flooding in the UK.

Really I'd prefer you not to point that thing at me...

Is the fox what you'd name a Red Fox? He seems to have a lovely glowing red coat! Also, is it possible your rainbows are being reflected from the cute green candle holders on your sill?

Oh my god -- that bottom photo in particular is FANTASTIC> I've never seen a fox, in the wild or otherwise, as they're very scarce here compared with coyotes, who have probably crowded them out of that eco-niche.

Leah - thanks - he was a handsome beast wasn't he?

Anonymous - we only have this sort of fox in this country so to us its just a fox. They are usually quite red.

Andrea - Thank you. I've never seen a coyote as we don't get them here.

Natalie - thank you and I'm particularly honoured that you looked in on your birthday! Hope it was a good one.

Oops - just realized I commented on this and the next post together in the one below.
The fox is beautiful - I do wonder why he's being so active in the daytime though - but what a wonderful gift to have seen him - twice at that!

Amazing fox photos! Can we see pictures of your printing on tissue?

Tinker - he seems to be active all the time... I wonder when he gets to rest.

Becky - I've been wondering about showing them but keep on forgetting to take photos of the printed tissue when there's daylight. Sorry!

I'm so fascinated by foxes (always have been) and have been enjoying regular visits to my garden by a "local" fox. However, he's been more elusive and harder to photograph than your own foxy friend! But I'm not giving up :-)
