Illustration Friday - Forgotten
Its so long since I've done an Illustration Friday I'd forgotten how difficult it is to select what medium I've used on the input page.... this one was drawn in pencil and pen then scanned and inverted.
In fact I think its almost a year... the last one being Fortune last July.
What do you do to help yourself remember things?

Nice drawing, Caroline!
What do I do to remember things?...if I have to take something to or from work, for instance,I put a piece of tape around my car keys...
I like your drawing! Especially with the inverted idea :) I write lists and put them on my wacom, but only for the next morning when I haven't had time for coffee yet ;)
Reminds me of the DT elephants in Dumbo!
Janet - that's a good idea - can't use the keys without wondering why you put it there... good one.
Anonymous - I felt a blackboard style suited it... I used to use a blackboard as my memo board... but I did tend to forget to look at it... so your lists are just for overnight?
Tony - I've never seen Dumbo but someone on flickr has just said it reminds her of the pink elephants from Dumbo...
Funny drawing, Caroline!
I have a good memory so I just remember.... Except for my lenses... I never remember where my lenses are! :)
MP - in your eyes!
I was so busy chuckling at the knotted trunk (very clever) I didn't realise which Caroline you are til the avatar came up!
And this reminds me I have some back-reading to do at your blog!
Yes? AH YES???? ;o)))
I do write notes to remember things - but then often forget to look at them :)
I won't soon forget your elephant though - he looks so friendly, and looks like he's got a lot of character!
Hugely clever and cute idea for this week! And I really like the inverted-ness. Very cool!
very cute!
To remember, I get quiet and spacious inside and wait, usually it comes back to me, not always!
Hhehee, my list is just until I've had morning coffee to do something before everything else ;)
Hi Caroline
I think the knot is to remind him/her not to sneeze in a confined space, an unpleasant experience for any pachyderm. Nice solution to the topic and well drawn too.
Thank you all for your comments and ideas for how to remember things.
Haha, that knotted trunk would make a good story!
Well, since I love to write...would you be surprised if I tell you I...write things down?
Thanks for the offer re: reiki. I'll remember if some new trainers come to town, when the time is right.
ooops, I meant, I write things down to remember.
