Caroline - this looks delicious - orange and pineapple and grape ice with such pretty glowing colors and great movement. It makes me think of confetti and celebrations. So pretty!

Trippy!

This could be what you're mind's eye sees when you bite into something particularly succulent...

WOW! If it were possible to ask your taste buds to paint a picture of flavour? This would be it! WOW!!!

Caroline said...

Wandering Coyote and Mick - thank you - I've never actually seen flavours but I pretended I could whilst I did this.

ly3n - thank you - I imagine this week with all the different IF flavours around our monitors are going to get a good licking!

merlinprincesse - a little colour to your snow palace? I use Painter IX, sorry I forgot to write that on the posting...

Caroline said...

teri c - thanks...

and I've just been watching - The Goodies... Goody, Goody, Yum, Yum... anyone would think it was put on especially for IF this week (It was a popular series throughout the '70s but I don't think I've seen it on TV since, until tonight)

Ahh, another person went for the fruity! I've spent a lot of time painting pictures of fruit, and their beauty never ceases to amaze me. This captures a bit of that. I LOVE the photo in the post below here of the orange and lime-- makes a nice addtion to the image here for flavor. Happy eating and drawing and photgraphing and everything...

Juicy fruit!! The original photo is scrumptious but love your found interpretation ... it captures the essence of fruit! Also love the Goodies - Goody, Goody Yum Yum :)

lovely photograph of orange, lemon and lime! my favorite colors!congratulations to your new camera. i've got a new one too!

nice outcome for your flavor entry to IF. it can also be a good textile design and the texture and design (again) can pass as a beautiful shawl.

have a nice new year's eve!

Caroline said...

gudbrandsdottir - Happy New Year to you!

GG - Sounds like a party - and I'm glad it says Happy New Year to you! Hope you have a good one.

kg - A fruity blizzard seems like a good name for the cocktail that GG has just created. (Thanks - I am having fun... I'll try not too swamp my blog with the outpourings...)

fern lady - thank you. Happy everything to you too!

unknown - strangely the cat you resemble here, although he was orange, liked fruit

anonymous - fruit essence? Essential to a healthy diet! Along with all the other goodies of course...
yum!

isay - congratulations on your new camera too! I like the idea of a shawl of flavour - to wrap oneself up in... yummy indeed!

Happy New Year!!!

nan - thank goodness virtual drool doesn't stain the blogs! I think a lot of this weeks entries would be very stained by now otherwise...

This is succulent. I'd like yards and yards of silk painted just this way!

Caroline said...

Jaimie - thank you - vibrabt from you really is vibrant!

Sultry Painterwoman - a silk scarf is a great idea - I love the way silk takes colour... hmm... just when I've got loads of other projects on the go too...

Thanks Ellen... I'm glad I've got somewhere to channel the emotions!

And thank you to whoever said that! Batik is something I admire... though I've never tried doing it myself properly.
