IF - Foggy

Figures in the Mist - Digitally painted in Corel Painter

One of the photo challenges I like to do is the Monthly Scavenger Hunt on Flickr. Back in May I blogged about this and showed this photo for a category of Heavy Fog:

Heavy Fog!

At the time I said I wasn't wearing glasses... since then I've decided that maybe I could do with going back to wearing some for reading at least. And today I had an appointment with my optician, the first time I'd been to see them since 2002:

UK date format: 11/07/08 = 11 July 2008

What's more for this months hunt I took all my pictures using a faceted bead in front of the lens and for the category of computer I showed one with the same blog posting on it because it was about the MSH, though I showed the end of the posting, which was actually about a book I was then reading:

My Computer

How's that for a well-documented synchronicity?

Here's the mosaic of all of my entries for this month's scavenger hunt using wobbly pictures:

Someone commented that they hurt her eyes...

Really enjoyed this clever series of images for 'foggy'!

I'm wondering if they're even foggier for me, since my vision is slightly doubled already (in case you're wondering, eye injury quite awhile back - not doubled from drinking :)...but I like them - they look especially nice altogether. They are all together aren't they?

HAHA to Tinkers last question! I'm feeling a little wobbly myself. I like your first image, reminds me of toothbrush spray stencilling!

Connie - thank you! I made my glasses foggy by putting them in the 'fridge...

Tinker - double vision all the time - that's tough! I normally only go double after too much reading...

And yes they are! :-)

Anonymous - I hope your wobble wasn't serious. Glad you liked my picture... as I was going to sleep last night I suddenly thought I ought to have put numerals in, not people... for the title I'd used...

Caroline: enjoyed the comments on yours and my blog! We also lived a year in Bristol and still love it. We'll be there in the van for 10 days in September.

On Friday morning I went walking with my neighbour and we were talking about fog, I was telling her how I saw fog for the first time when I'd travelled to another country far away, and I walked in it, and how strange it felt. And she who practically grew up in England was telling me about fog there.

Connie - good to make a new blog buddy! If we are around when you are here we could meet up in a cafe maybe?

GG - So you had picked up the foggy theme too! Great continuation of the synch.

Would love to revisit the Folkhouse! Maybe we could meet up there. I'll be back to your site before then (I'll see if I can do something frightfully technical like setting up a link!)

Connie - we were in the Folkhouse the other day - lovely meal! So yes an excellent choice. Thanks for the link - I've linked to you too.

Very creative series of fogginess Caroline! I thought maybe your glasses steamed up from some hunk walking by :) Of course I mean your husband! Your eyes aren't too bad. You just needed a little magnification for close-up reading or art. One of my eyes is a +150 like yours, but my other eye is +325! Talk about eye dominance. I love your wobbly collage too. I wish I knew how to make one.
Good job!

your foggy piece is so beautiful, like Pointillism. Your other pictures are not showing up for me? Thank You for your kind words :)

Hello!
Think Merlin has accepted all the healings thoughts from you! :) He does not have cancer. Probably just a ganglionic infection! He's fine! :)
