Today has been much better - she's really got the hang of where to go to relieve herself (only one accident so far today) and she's been lots of fun too.

Jim is also very pleased - she seems to have brought him luck as he's just won £1100 on the premium bonds!Carolinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05635758748108011584noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16297785.post-32985703821140315962008-10-02T14:39:00.000+01:002008-10-02T14:39:00.000+01:00Oh the adventures of having a puppy! I think trouble making just comes with being a puppy. She is worth it. She snuggled up and kept me warm whilst I kept her dry under my fleece top (thank goodness I had that on!). A spare key to the shed outside would have helped... I'm reluctant to put a back door key anywhere in the garden but I might hide a shed key somewhere.

Colin - I think we have both survived the cold and the wet - knowing I had to stay calm and be a model of good behaviour for her helped!

She certainly left her mark... what I didn't mention above was before we went in I'd said there was some danger of such an accident and he'd said it was okay as he had laminate floors but when the accident happened she'd snuck into his carpeted bedroom whilst I was ringing Jim!Carolinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05635758748108011584noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16297785.post-81493360994113405962008-10-02T10:20:00.000+01:002008-10-02T10:20:00.000+01:00Puppy looks beautiful. I suppose that asking the dog to find your keys only works if you've already lost some.

Re: sudden bladder control - perhaps she figured out that it was another pack's territory?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16297785.post-24491547128937337832008-10-02T00:41:00.000+01:002008-10-02T00:41:00.000+01:00Oh - I am in puppy love just looking at her photos...Oh - I am in puppy love just looking at her photos! My oldest dog took 2 days, the younger one, over 2 weeks!
