Don't know what you would call them in the UK, but they're the blue and white striped disposable cloths. Another option would be kitchen paper towel supported inside a kitchen strainer.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12278513798851887982noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16297785.post-19290237942316718312012-01-04T18:47:45.550+00:002012-01-04T18:47:45.550+00:00Thanks Amanda!

Your lovely mistletoe pieces remind me of stained glass windows and your ammonite work is simply beautiful! I like your encaustic abstract too - it reminds me of New Year's fireworks. And Jim's cradleboards look very well-made. What fun you must be having with this new medium!
Happy New Year, Caroline! xx
p.s. I have a very fine mesh tea strainer and wondered if you had tried something like that for straining the resin (though it is rather a small item to pour through...). Or perhaps layers of cheesecloth? You may well have already tried both of those too, but thought I'd mention them, just in case...
p.p.s. (or is it 'p.s.s.?' I can never remember...) Thank you for sharing so much information about the whole process! xoTinkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11584047180190646921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16297785.post-51211593840168944092012-01-03T00:19:49.885+00:002012-01-03T00:19:49.885+00:00What a jam packed, fabulous post!
